About Me

I am an accomplished professional make-up artist based in Johannesburg. My career started in 1993 in Durban, KZN.  After completing my make-up course at a local Durban school I started to work with model agencies.  I decided to take the plunge and I moved back to Johannesburg in 1995 to pursue my career as a professional make-up artist.  I joined an agency, started to work on small shoots.  I also assisted other professional make-up and hair artists so I learned the tricks of the trade from some of the best make-up artists and hair stylists there were at the time.  My skill as a professional make-up artist was enhanced by learning and watching professional make-up artists at work.

My passion for the art of make-up started from an early age and my interest in make-up was fueled by my creativity and passion for the art.  I am so fortunate to be doing what I love as a career.

My portfolio of work covers all genres, from still shoots to film and features, television and commercials, fashion shoots for magazines, fashion shows, editorials, catalogue shoots, advertising campaigns, corporate and entertainment events, weddings, make-up workshops, lecturing at make-up schools and I offer private lessons!

My attention to detail and a deep understanding of what makes each client shine means my make-up application is on point and flawless. My technique gives you a finish close to perfection!  My aim is to create a unique, beautiful look that enhances each clients’ natural beauty!

I have always loved experimenting with different hair styles and have sharpened my skills as a hair stylist by watching and learning from the best.  I enjoy the creativity in hair styling, transforming a person’s look with simple make-up and hair is so rewarding and satisfying.  Seeing your client’s reaction is priceless!

Through my years of experience I have learned that flexibility is key.  I am invested in whatever job I do and will always extend myself beyond my job description to offer the best possible service.  I love to broaden my horizons and no job is ever too big or too small.
